European project on children´s rights in Moss

On Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 October 2014, Barnas Fredsverden is receiving colleagues from the Network for Children’s Rights Greece and the ICE-CCFR Centre for Children and Family Research (Iceland) for a workshop in Moss aiming at searching for best practices and new scopes for the International Convention on the Rights of the Child when it comes to Education, Culture and Leisure, Health Structures, Social Welfare and Media.

Among other issues, the topics that will be discussed are :
-the international organizations and the initiatives to protect the rights of children
-what crisis management strategies can be implemented in response to abuse(s) of children’s rights
-children´s rights advocacy in the public space
-awareness campaigns, online activities, legal support… 

The workshop is funded by We are all citizens under the action
“INITIATIVES BILATERAL RELATIONS Measure (A)” EEA and Norway Grants and is expected to enhance relationships with institutions of civil society in Greece, Norway and Iceland as well as to provide a significant boost to our work in the context of search
valuable partners for the project proposal in the future concerning the promotion of democratic values, including human rights.
